Project Description

Construction of sidewalk, decorative pedestrian lighting, landscaping, storm and sanitary extensions along Martin Luther King Drive between Shug Jordan Parkway and Donahue Drive. This project will tie into the upcoming Martin Luther King Drive Multi-Use Path Project, which is being done in conjunction with the Alabama Department of Transportation. The Martin Luther King Drive Multi-Use Path Project consists of the construction of a multi-use path between Webster Road and the Shug Jordan Parkway Overpass. Together, these two projects will create a 2-mile long connection for the people who live along Martin Luther King Drive to Downtown and Auburn University.
